Like “Corr”, Sugar was released during a phase where I was trying to spend less time perfecting my songs. I sang on this one, and never got the vocals to sound the way I wanted.

The melodies and arrangement had potential, but I never nailed the subtle sonics of the drop, which makes or breaks an electronic song.

Looking back, I wish I had taken to the time to get it right, instead of giving in to the pressure from my team to get things out quick.
